Seriously, the way I've seen people rant and rave about the fact that Adam did not win American Idol, it's as if the fans themselves lost and not him. From every interview I've seen of him, he seems genuinely happy for Kris and he knows his career isn't ending here. Shouldn't that be enough? Geez. I feel so horrible for Kris Allen (I'm thrilled he won and I would've be just as good if Adam won because he is a really talented guy, even if I prefer Kris's voice). He's gotten trashed so horribly and he hasn't even cut a record yet.

And I read an article where disgruntled Adam fans left the theatre seconds after the winner was announced. You know, I wasn't happy when my favorite lost, but I sat through the winner's performance, even enjoyed it and let them bask in their moment of glory.

Lord Simon Cowell (in his own mind, anyway) even ranked Kris at 7 out of the 8 Idols (just ahead of Taylor Hicks). How can you do that yet? He was American Idol for ONE day when Cowell said that. We all know how much Simon promoted Adam (to the point where it probably hurt Adam because others got so pissed off by it) and he wanted him to win, but seriously, before you make your judgments, wait until the guy can put a CD out. What should I expect though? I've watched this show for 7 out of 8 seasons and this season, Simon just made it seem like the other contestants couldn't do anything right. He even told one of them to beg for votes when she didn't need to.

Yeah, I just needed to rant a bit. Adam Lambert and Kris Allen are two extraordinarily talented men and give them a break.
